By engaging in extensive reading and cultural exploration (Journey to the West, Three Kingdoms culture, geographical culture, and classical poetry), students make a smooth transition from "enjoying listening and daring to speak" to "independent reading and autonomous expression."

NextGen Holistic Chinese: Significant Achievement Through the study of historical culture, folk traditions, grammatical foundations, Chinese character analysis, and the recitation of classical poetry and famous sayings—complemented by extensive reading, oral performance, and writing practice—this NextGen Chinese program cultivates students' cultural literacy and develops their advanced reading and writing skills.
