I am Zhang Yixin, a Chinese teacher dedicated to children's Chinese education and family growth.

Since 2017, I have taught in various schools in Silicon Valley, including:

• Teacher of Chinese after-school classes at Silicon Valley private primary schools

• Substitute teacher of Early Childhood & Primary School, Waldorf School

• Class teacher of many kindergartens (formerly)

Living and studying with children aged 2-10 for a long time has given me a deep understanding:

Children's language absorption, emotions, behaviors, and habits are closely related to the family atmosphere, and children's growth is inseparable from the participation, companionship and support of parents. 

Prior to moving into education, I held R&D and senior management positions at various technology companies, and I understand the pressures and challenges faced by working parents between work and family. 

As a mother who raises both a high school daughter and an elementary school son, I have always attached importance to family education and continue to learn and grow in the process of accompanying my children.

I believe: "One tree shakes another, and one life affects another." 

Children need not only knowledge, they need example, rhythm, companionship, a sense of emotional stability, they need to see - it turns out that mom and dad are also seriously learning and growing. 

Therefore, in the classroom of Enchanted Chinese:

• Children build their Chinese roots in classic rhymes

• Parents become role models for their children in co-learning

• The family becomes softer and more powerful in cooperation and communication

This is the education method that I cherish and love the most, and it is also the biggest feature of Mizhi Chinese! 

📘 Why did I start Enchanted Chinese?

I want to give my children a different Chinese path:

• It's not about practicing and coping with exams

• Instead, they are "soaked" in the timeless Chinese classics and enjoy the brilliant Chinese culture

• Grow steadily in harmonious family relationships

• In the infiltration of organic and natural learning methods, we will build future language ability 

Relying on the mature theories and courseware developed and practiced by Tongle Chinese for many years, and with the blessing of the existing parent-child co-learning community, in the future, we will see batches of children with a deeper sense of Chinese language, better emotional power, more stable self, and stronger internal drive.
